Following a recent assessment by Investors in People, C+A Design are delighted to announce that we have achieved the ‘We invest in people accreditation’. This is a fantastic accomplishment, especially as we are first-time applicants to the scheme.
Investors in People is an international company, who have helped more than 11 million people across 75 countries to make work better. They measure organisations against a standardised framework, and the accreditation process includes surveys and interviews amongst staff.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People said:
We’d like to congratulate C+A design. Being accredited with We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places C+A design in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.
The assessment underlined some of the company’s current strengths:
- You have grown your client base and strengthened the foundations of the business
- Your staff feel involved and empowered
- All your staff feel trusted and they are encouraged to use their initiative in their jobs
In response to this, Adam Slade, Managing Director said:
Over the past couple of years we’ve worked really hard to continue developing the company from establishing our values, new policies including an environmental and a period policy, encouraging a flexible working approach and lots more, all with the input of those that work for us. We have a really strong and dedicated team and it’s thanks to them that we have achieved accreditation quickly, our people are our most valuable asset. Development as a company doesn’t stop here, we will use this as a steppingstone in accountability and further development.
As the accreditation is valid for three years, we’ll use this time to take on board the feedback from the Investors in People report and look for new ways to improve as a company.
