At C+A Design, we are committed to supporting organisations that make a real difference in their communities. Recently, we were proud to provide pro-bono architectural services to Golddigger Trust.
Golddigger Trust is a charity that has been working tirelessly for over two decades, supporting young people through difficult challenges. With demand for their services growing, Golddigger Trust needed a larger, more suitable space to accommodate their expanding programmes and to continue playing a vital role in supporting the communities of Sheffield.
Golddigger Trust has relocated to The Refinery, their brand-new space on Ecclesall Road. The new premises feature a Wellbeing Café on the ground floor, which will provide young people with a range of activities focused on nurturing their heart, body, mind, and soul.
The office space, located on the upper floor, has been designed to create a modern, comfortable, and collaborative environment. This new workspace provides ample room for private counselling sessions, and group activities. In addition to the office space, we were thrilled to work on The Refine Studio, a dedicated area where young people can engage in positive physical activities such as yoga and pilates to support their wellbeing.

It was an exciting opportunity to give back to the Sheffield community in a meaningful and tangible way. Seeing how happy Golddigger Trust were with the finished space, and knowing that our work will support the incredible difference they make in the lives of young people, has been truly heartwarming.

Working on this project was a fantastic opportunity to give back to an organisation that makes such a profound impact on Sheffield’s young people. The space our team created will actively support and enhance Golddigger Trust's essential work, making this experience deeply rewarding for all of us involved.
Our team at C+A Design worked closely with Golddigger Trust throughout the entire process, from concept design to completion, delivering architectural expertise free of charge. The result is a versatile, inspiring space that supports the charity’s mission to empower young people across Sheffield.
