It’s not often when digging around in the ground anything of Archaeological interest appears. At a recent project, South of the Thames, several Victorian pots were uncovered as well as foundations from a turn of century brick chimney stack. A shallow ditch has also been uncovered, though to date from either Middle-Late Bronze or the Late Iron Age.

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) were on hand to record the interesting finds as part of their watching brief.
